Reflection:
Day 1: We did very well working as a team and successfully found all of our caches despite the heat and ticks! We learned about a new technology and are excited to share with our fellow teachers. We learned how to mark our waypoints and input coordinates in order to find the location of each cache.

Classroom Application
Day 1
When you return to school in the fall, how will you use what you learned today in your classroom?
-We would like to set up a scavenger hunt with small groups of students since it would be easier to work with varying levels of students in that setting. Once these small groups have gotten the hang of how to use the GPS, we could use these small groups to peer teach other students how to utilize the GPS.
How will you use what you learned today to train the teachers in your school?

Wow, what a hot day! Green Team, you did an outstanding job completing your quest for the day. I look forward to working with you in Day 2 of our quest. Be sure to explore your GPS unit over the next few weeks and bring any questions you have to our next Indiana Jones Quest.
